VEX V5RC, is the largest and fastest growing robotics program for middle and high school students. Each year, an exciting engineering challenge is presented in the form of a challenging game. Students, with guidance from their coaches and mentors, build innovative robots in small teams and compete in VEX Robotics Competitions (VRC) qualification matches, elimination matches, and skills challenges.
In addition to learning valuable engineering skills, students gain life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, communication, collaboration, project management, and critical thinking. The VEX Robotics Competition prepares students to become future innovators with 95% of participants reporting an increased interest in STEM subject areas and pursuing STEM-related careers.
VEX V5RC
For students in Grades 7-12. Our VEX V5RC program will be forming teams, to compete in VEX Robotics Competitions (V5RC). Applications to be placed on a team are available towards the end of each school year for the following school year, and due before the end of that previous school year.
The VEX V5RC Competitive fall season starts in July/August each year, with practices starting before the school year begins.
