Grades 4-6 Beginner Summer Camp

Summer Camp is available for students going into 4th-6th grades. VEX IQ Robotics Day Camp is June 15-18, 2026 at the Jenison Robotics Building, 1889 Baldwin St., Jenison. Cost is $100.

Registration opens on Saturday, April 15th at 12:00 pm.

  • Beginner Summer Camp attendance is limited to the first 40 children who signup and pay.
  • Advanced Summer Camp is limited to the 20 children who signup and pay. Advanced Summer Camp is only available to children who have participated in at least one season of VEX IQ.

After you fill out the form below, you will be redirected to a payment page, to finish the signup process. Registration is only considered "complete" after we receive payment. If you are registering more than one child, please return to this page and register them one at a time.

Summer Camp

  • Registration is limited to 40 children in the beginner camp, and 20 children in the advanced camp
  • After that we will have a "waiting list" 

Summer Camp - Introduction To VEX Robotics

The "Summer Camp" will focus on the basics of what a "VEX IQ" robot is and hands-on building activities

Including:

  • learning the basics of VEX IQ robot design, and the various components, and how they all work together
  • hands-on building of a "VEX IQ Robot" in teams of 2-3 kids
  • driving the robots they build through various challenges, including this years "game"
  • Modifying their robots to better tackle the challenges
  • and a camp end "Challenge Tournament" to decide who built the best robot!

This "Summer Camp" is a great opportunity to find out if the Jenison Robotics program is a good fit for your child! Signups are limited, and on a first-come-first-served basis, and have filled up quickly the last 5 summers.
